2016 Driver & Rider Training Symposium Success!

April 16, 2016

2016 International Driver & Rider Training SymposiumThe 2016 Driver and Rider Training Symposiums held in Reno were a resounding success! An international group of Training Instructors and administrative staff converged for a week of events ranging from classroom presentations to behind‐the‐wheel demonstrations.

Presentations of new methodology and curriculums were among the topics delivered by a stellar speaker list. Both Driver Instructors and Rider Instructors were exposed to new vehicle technologies, and in collaboration with Bosch LLC, there was the debut of the Bosch MSC (Motorcycle Stability Control), ABS, and TC equipped SKIDBIKE. For the very first time, it was possible for low speed activation of these Safety Systems.

Also included in the events were test drives and demonstrations of the SKIDCAR with F.O.S. (Folding Outrigger System) for mobile driver training programs. The new F.O.S. is perfect for those SKIDCAR users who must trailer their SKIDCAR. Additional optional events included two ESC Workshops for EVOC Instructors, SKIDCAR Instructor Recertification, and SKIDCAR Service Clinics, offered on the day following the presentations.
